Press Release
Venango County Libertaria
n Party Chairman, James "Jim" Fryman, is his party's candidate for the 5th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.

Fryman is relatively new to politics but is long on life experience and has seen how state and federal bureaucracy works from the inside, having been a Revenue Officer with IRS and being recently retired from PennDot where he worked as a real estate appraiser and negotiator.

Jim is a Vietnam-era Navy veteran and has lived in other parts of our country and his world view is not limited by geography.

As Barry Goldwater said, "My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them"

The Second Amendment
Did you know that during Katrina, the first thing the government did was force people to surrender their firearms, thereby removing their ability to defend themselves? Did you know that it's common for Pennsylvania gun shop owners to be bogged down by government paperwork that makes hours of additional work for them every day and hinders their ability to run their businesses?

Amendment II: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The second amendment guarantees our right to bear arms, not for hunting as many people think, but to defend our life and liberty.
